Still can’t believe I went to INCREDIBLE INDIA.

Just working on the skeleton of this post. I think I’ll break it down to two parts. The first part where I was travelling with a group of yogi’s from the GTA. 12 of us bonded in just one day of travel! (two 8 hour plane rides and 1 two hour plane ride, an almost missed connection that almost made our group turn to 11, a 4 hour taxi at 5am…). And the second part where me and two of the girls in the main group continued to Delhi, Jaipur, and Amritsar.

March 11, 2014 – Leave Toronto late at night – fly to Germany – connect to Mumbai, India, transfer from Mumbai International Airport to the smaller domestic airport, fly to Goa, hop in a 4 hour crazy bumpy ride in a very well airconditioned taxi to Swaswara in Gokarna, India! The entire length of this trip was more than 24 hours. Somehow we ended up arriving Thursday around 10am.

Our little villa’s in Swaswara. My friend Kaja and I shared A1! Coolest little house, equipped with a little balcony, open lounge living room, a half ourdoor shower with tiny thin towels (that were eco friendly because they were tiny..), airconditioned bedroom, upstairs mini living room & MONKEYS. The water here is collected rain water that they clean, boil, purify and all that jazz to make it safe for us to drink and wash with!

Tadasana Samasthiti or Mountain Pose with an amazing view! Hearing nothing but our breath and the sounds of the Indian jungle.

A little flip flop hike along a cliffside to a secret beach called Half Moon. Really steep, fun and HOT.
One thing I slightly regret (but I guess learned from) is that I wish I documented the FOOD better! Everything I ate was amazing but I have no idea what most of it is called... next time I suppose :)

Another practice space – The Yoga Shala. My practice got so strong during these 10 days. We usually practiced twice a day, ate extremely healthy fresh and organic food. Felt so good.
